The Annual Meeting of Arctic ROOS was hosted by FIMR at the premises of  Finnish Maritime Administration in Helsinki.  The meeting started at 1400 on 05 November and ended at 1500 on 06 November. 12 participants gave presentations of their ongoing and planned activities. The Norwegian Polar Institute was adopted as new member and will sign the MoU. The Geophysical Institute at University of Bergen has expressed interest to be member.  The main topics for discussion was the planning document for Arctic ROOS, the outline and contents of the web site, further promotion of Arctic ROOS, and funding opportunities for projects and programmes supporting monitoring system.
