  6. New legal status of  EuroGOOS as European Interest Group (EIG) and reporting to the EuroGOOS annual meeting 13 -15 December,
  7. Status of SIOS: Svalbard Integrated Observing System – Preparatory Phase project in FP7 for European research infrastructure in Svalbard
  8. ESA Climate Change Initiative (CCI) sea ice project is in contract preparation
  9. Other projects involving ArcticROOS members: SIDARUS, ICEMAR, etc.
  10. Data dissemination through Arctic-ROOS web site and partners web sites. How can we provide more data and data products via this portal ?  Most of the partners have data that are accessible on web sites.  These should be linked to the Arctic ROOS portal so that it is easy for users to find data. The portal should provide different levels of information: high level synthesis, graphics and maps, data sets.

    • daily, weekly and monthly data
    • forecast
    • historical data, re-analysis and climate data
    • information on data policy and data management
